Maria Eulàlia Juvé Udina is a nurse. Trained in patient care for transplants by the National Health Service-National Cancer Institute (UK)

CARE

Nursing care in various medical-surgical units at the Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge (Barcelona, 1990 – 1992) such as internal medicine and infectious diseases, digestive system, clinical hematology or post-surgical resuscitation, among others.

Nursing care in oncohematology at the Duran i Reynals Oncological Hospital (Barcelona, 1992 – 1995).

Oncological clinical nurse at the Duran i Reynals Oncological Hospital (1995-1997).

MANAGEMENT Nursing support in the development of care plans, quality improvement, continuing education, and finally, knowledge and research management at the Hospital Universitario de Bellvitge (Barcelona, 1997- 2004).

Nurse attached to the Management for the 8 hospitals of the Institut Català de la Salut (ICS, Barcelona 2005 -).

Among others, she has led the COM_VA project for the definition and evaluation of nursing clinical expertise and the ARES program for the harmonization of care standards in the hospital and social health field, the VIDA project for Surveillance and Early Identification of acute deterioration (Vigilancia e Identificación precoz del deterioro agudo), the SIRENA project for the simplification of records and navigation in nursing workstations, and has been responsible for the implementation of the electronic medical record system of the ICS hospitals and other partner centers. She has also co-led the implementation of the ARES program in primary care (ICS 2005

TEACHING

She has been a collaborating teacher in multiple university training programs at different universities in Spain and since 2009, associate professor and collaborator in the master’s and doctoral programs at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Universidad de Barcelona

RESEARCH

Head of the Nursing Research Group (GRIN) at the Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Bellvitge (IDIBELL, Barcelona 2013 – ).

She has participated in multiple research projects. She has published several books and more than 60 scientific articles. Maria Eulàlia Juvé is the author of ATIC.
